MINOR ILLNESS SCHEME
The surgery operates a minor illness scheme whereby patients who qualify for free prescriptions can obtain advice and prescriptions from the chemist regarding many minor illnesses, without the need to see a doctor. This 'passport' scheme is for MINOR ILLNESSES such as sore throats, earache, colds and flu etc. If you have a minor illness ask the receptionist for details of this scheme.
We can use text messages to remind you of appointments, issue test results or give out other important information. Just let reception know your mobile telephone number if you are interested.
Certain medical certificates are issued free of charge. Please ask for confirmation from reception if you require clarification.
